World Wide Brands Review

World wide brands is one of the oldest and most talked about wholesale directories online. They boast the largest supplier data base in the world however I beg to differ. World Wide Brands does have a quite massive wholesale directory I only found about 150 drop shippers. I think part of the problem is due to the search function which makes it difficult to find suppliers efficiently.  I found that I was not the only one with this problem as their was several complaints on the forum about it. The world wide brands staff says this is for security reasons but it does make it difficult to find suppliers.

That is my only complaint with their service I think they are a great company and I support their mission to help keep e-commerce safe and they are doing a great job with it. I did not mean to start this review out on a negative and that was not my intention, but I have a duty to write this review as fair and balanced as possible.

World wide brands has been online for a long time and they have done a great job compiling all of their data. They have many resources available to their members from books and videos, tutorials, and a online support staff. If you are completely new to the internet this is without a doubt the type of stuff you need to be successful.  Although they are a little higher than some of the others don’t you think it would be smart to do it right one time ? Instead of taking chances some where else?

Their  website is state of the art with a virtual control panel that allows you to store data, and have instant access to your suppliers. The websites they have listed are top of the line and I must say it is worth the $300.00 price tag if you can afford it.

I rate them an   A    and commend them on helping to keep the internet safe.

  1. So, I read your reviews, and based on your recommendation I signed up with Worldwide Brands. They are truly just a middleman offering access to very few drop shippers. Once you find a drop shipper listed on worldwide brands, you have to contact them separately. Why did I pay hard-earned $ to worldwide brands for no services? They get a F in my book.

  2. Hi Donna yes you do have to contact the suppliers separately that is how dealing with real drop shipping suppliers works. Did you not read on their website that it says world wide brands gives you access to 100s of drop shippers? They do not claim to be a store. They claim to be exactly what they are a drop shipping directory with 100s of drop shippers listed in their directory. Yes you may have to go through and contact the suppliers, but they are legitimate drop shippers, and not some half rate middlemen. Their is nothing easy about starting a business on the internet at all, and if your already discouraged over having to contact the suppliers separately then you should quit while your ahead. It only gets harder. Starting a website takes a lot of time, hard work, and dedication. Their is no easy automated solution. Yeah you may find a ton of sites that claim to have an easy process, but at the end of the day you will never make one cent with those guys. Whereas if you take the time, work, and find the suppliers through world wide brands in the long run you will have profitable products and good suppliers that you can rely on. (That is the real value.)

I joined world wide brands, but I found as DJ said that they do not really have as many drop shippers as people claim. I also found that the reason so many people have so many great things to say about them is because they pay $150.00 commission to every affiliate. Which makes everyone say their great.

(I am not blaming this site I was a member long before I came here, and I know you guys don’t use affiliate links.)

Also I did take your advice on another place and I am glad I did : )
